Bewitched Quartet

Bewitched Quartet was thrilled to participate in The Back for the Future Convention and Competition in Saskatoon. It was a fabulous weekend and it felt so good to finally have our regional friends back together in person.

Bewitched at First Night in Saskatoon

We’re thrilled with our third-place finish in the quartet contest and send our warmest congratulations to Thumbs Up! on winning the contest in their 20th-anniversary competition as a quartet. All of Bewitched will be in Louisville, competing with Lions Gate Chorus and we can’t wait to cheer for Thumbs Up! as they represent Region 26 at International.

We also send congratulations to everyone that crossed the stage at Regional this year. It is such a beautiful thing that we are competitors but always remain friends first! 💞

Copper Moon Quartet & Bewitched Quartet, ready for the stage!

The Saturday evening banquet and party were a success in every way! Some highlights were:

  • Convention attendees didn't have to worry about what to do for dinner

  • The buffet was accessible and affordable with a little help from Region 26

  • The buffet was plentiful, with excellent food choices, and tables were served quickly and efficiently

  • The bar staff was friendly and efficient, and there were no long lineups waiting for drinks

  • The young singers invited to perform at the party were fantastic and it was a joy to see them perform with such heart and receive such a heartfelt response from our Region 26 audience

  • The room setup with a quartet stage on one side and the chorus riser stage on the other made for seamless transitions between acts

  • Lisa Greenough and Evani Goll were entertaining and engaging hosts for the evening, keeping things moving along while allowing time for socializing between acts.

  • Everyone who wanted to perform that evening could do so, making it relaxed, fun, and inclusive

  • The photo booth was an especially fun feature of the night

Bewitched is looking forward to another fun-filled year of quartet singing. We’ll be heading over to Vancouver Island in July to join our BHS friends The Squares for a performance at their annual lakeside retreat. The view and the company are amazing!

Last but certainly not least, we’re all so excited for the remainder of the road to Louisville with Lions Gate Chorus!  We hope to see you all there.
