Forward Motion

Knock us down and we'll just get up
Lock us in and we'll find a key
Hinder our plans we'll find a way
To keep our future full of harmony

A challenge serves us very well
As we've learned time and again
Our resilience strengthens more
With all the curves life will send

We are Sweet Adelines
Strong and resourceful
of various nations and Regions
In our world of International

We sing an unusual type of music
creating melodic ringing overtones
Its croon searches your soul
Leaving a melancholy yearn in one

Some may find it hard to believe
That we've learned to sing together, apart
Been practicing for 2 years now
And it’s still as rich in ring and heart

It's not like us to ever get bored
Because we are always so very busy
imagine a chorus that harbours a wealth
Of such immense creativity

The Maple Leaf is our Region 26 symbol
Vibrant and rich in colors
Speaks to our diversity and love of our art
that lends to our consistent numbers
