HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Members of Alberta Northern Lights Chorus have been extremely busy these past few months and have had much to celebrate. We would like to congratulate:
Our Director, Lisa Hunszinger - who has become an Approved Judge in the Expression Category.
Mary Teed - who was recently appointed to a second - one year term on the SAI Board of Directors.
Jenn Laux and Joy McGregor - who have both become Approved Arrangers.
We are very proud of you all!
January 15, 2024 was the 20th Anniversary of Alberta Northern Lights Chorus (formerly Alberta Heartland Chorus). Our planned celebration had to be delayed due to poor weather but stay tuned!
Our membership has grown significantly this fall and as a result, we have had to purchase additional risers to accommodate everyone. What an exciting journey we are on!
We had numerous Christmas performances during November and December, sometimes spending entire weekends spreading the joy of the season through song. We also sang at the Legislature and were happy to have some of our newer members in attendance. We ended the holiday season with a Chorus Christmas Party which was well attended and enjoyed by all!
We look forward to continued growth, more music, friendships and fun in 2024. See you all at our Region 26 Competition - right here in Edmonton in May!
