Bewitched Quartet

Bewitched Quartet has changed since our performance at Region 26 contest in Edmonton earlier this year. We were thrilled to compete with so many amazing quartets in Edmonton and happy to head home with our 5th-place quartet medals.

Not long after we returned home, our lead Allison Young realized that the commute from her new home in Marysville, Washington was too much for her to handle along with her weekly commute to Lions Gate Chorus rehearsals. Allison made the difficult decision to step down from Bewitched.

At the same time, Jetset Quartet was also going through some changes. Following their exciting 3rd-place finish the first time competing at regional contest, world travels and distance were getting in the way of continuing as a quartet. Jetset bridged cities and time zones with their passion for harmony, but now it was time to move on to other things.

Messages were exchanged, travel and singing together happened, and the next thing we all knew, Bewitched had a fabulous new lead, Cara Bedford.

Since then, it’s been a whirlwind of learning new music, coaching sessions, and becoming the best of friends.

We have some amazing performance opportunities in the works for the holiday season and will post photos on our Facebook page as things unfold. We’re busy working on some wonderful new arrangements for Regional 2025. Bewitched Quartet is excited about sharing the stage and another fun-filled regional weekend with all of our friends in Region 26!
