Do you love to sing? If you live anywhere in Metro Vancouver or the Lower Mainland, Westcoast Harmony Chorus may be the perfect place for you!
We are an award-winning a cappella chorus with more than 80 members of varying ages and backgrounds, singing primarily in the barbershop style. We rehearse every Wednesday evening in Surrey, B.C., learning new, challenging repertoire, from traditional barbershop to contemporary pop and rock arrangements. In 2022, we won 6th place in the Sweet Adelines International competition in Phoenix, Arizona, competing against top choruses from around the world.
Our weekly rehearsals are led by Master Director Anne Downton, baritone of Frenzy Quartet, the 2017 International Quartet Champions! Every rehearsal is guaranteed to be fun, challenging, and a high-level vocal lesson!
