What a HOLIDAY Season for Singing. The PAC participated in the outdoor Surrey Christmas Tree lighting Show; taking the stage before and after many other music groups.
A new Christmas venture “Peace Arch Chorus, a treble-voiced choir, will be singing and ringing those chords on Sunday, Dec. 1, at 3 p.m. at Ladner United Church as part of the Sunday @3 Concert Series. The concert series is an annual event in Ladner….already booked for 2025!
Home for the Holidays Show at our rehearsal site…opened in casual attire, inviting all, wondering Who Will Buy & inviting to the party, Here and Now, during a Song for Winter’s Night. We gathered our gifts, suitcases & donned our ugly sweaters/antlers etc for Home for the Holidays celebrating with a Family Chorus & a Gospel Song amidst the Christmas song favourites joined by PAC’s quartet TAXI. What a great joyous audience…2 past Directors Emma & Lisa whose Mama Mary had passed only days before. Lisa was sure that this was where she needed to be.
PAC celebrated Leslie’s 30 year SAI pin when we sang our Christmas repertoire at 2 care homes on the Langley Memorial Hospital grounds. This was followed by a singing walk through a modular home residential area. Some of the residents ventured to their porches to give their Christmas greetings.
The New Year 2025 opened with a goal setting session facilitated by Carollyne Conlinn.
