Peace Arch Chorus celebrated their 50th Anniversary with a performance in December
The PAC debuted our songs for “Back FOR The Future” at our combined 50th Anniversary Christmas show in December 2022.
The Retreat theme of the 20’s, NOT the 2020’s but 1920’s, captured the particular musical era of the songs. Evening skits were stories using random articles given to teams to act out in hilarious imaginative scenes.
PAC Director Elvera Collier, experienced her first official Director coaching venture with the talented Elaine Cotton. Shannon Harris visited during evening rehearsals giving us PVI’s and THEN our regional coach was Sandy Marron!!! All Queen’s! What/who does this remind you of???
We have a new young singer….actually with her mother and sister competing with us in Saskatoon. Welcome Amy McLean.
This will be Elvera’s first time directing in the Region 26 competition plus being part of Copper Moon quartet two of whom are with Peace Arch.
Our sneak preview with guest quartets “Bewitched” & “Copper Moon” is April 19 7PM at our rehearsal site – Newton Cultural Centre, 13530 72nd Ave Surrey BC.
So much to celebrate for our FUTURE.
