Christmas concert with Acapella Road
Rhythm had a fabulous end to 2024 and the beginning of 2025.
December began with coaching with the fabulous Erin Howden. What a GIFT the extraordinarily talented Erin Howden was for our chorus. We are eternally grateful for her sharing her beautiful, big heart and her visual communication pearls of wisdom. What an outstanding teacher, communicator and coach, with such an amazing ability at bringing out the emotional message of the songs! We are truly blessed and have been changed for the better!!
Of course, we had four community performances and made the news here in Calgary but nothing was as memorable as our Christmas concert with Acapella Road. The concert had an awesome turnout and was so magical. We're so pleased to have raised $13,800 for the Calgary Food Bank, together with Acapella Road chorus! We will be presented this cheque to the food bank on Wed. Jan. 22nd!
We have to give kudos again to our Membership and Marketing team for bringing in another two members in December! Welcome to Connie and Tahmar! I think that brings us to a total of 7 new members since July. Amazing work!
We finished off the year with our annual Christmas Party. It was amazing as usual and planned by Vicki and Twyla. Plenty of food and drink was to be had especially the little mice
The new year brought our Supercharged, super coaching weekend. We celebrated with our all of our members getting new T-shirts with the logo “The Best is Yet to Come”, coaching with the fabulous Queen Caitlyn Castelino, as well as our Harry Potter themed dinner and entertainment Saturday night. Apparently, this queen has never seen large snow flakes fall from the sky…she saw them Saturday night. Magic was in the air.
A heartfelt thank you to the incredibly talented Caitlin Castelino for your wonderfully positive and encouraging approach during our educational weekend! Your insightful guidance and clear, beautiful vocal demonstrations played a vital role in enhancing our skills and boosting our confidence to explore new opportunities.
