Shift don't shrink

A Message from Jan Carley, Inner Coach of Barbershop:

Dear Region 26 Friends –

These are unprecedented and unpredictable times for all of us. As a generally anxiety-free individual, I started feeling my stress levels rise at the loss of control I suddenly had over my life. As I tried to make sense of it all I found myself drawing inward, and as I did that, I felt an even greater sense of alone-ness.

As I thought about it, it occurred to me that our way through all of this will be to “Shift” rather than “Shrink”.  Nothing is the same right now and “Shifting” is where we – creative, women in a strong community – can come into our own.  We may not be able to sing together in person, but we can retain our community, feel the support and move forward together. Region 26 – the place with space and heart- is incredibly vibrant and diverse.  Together we find our greatest strength.  Keep on talking, keep on meeting, connect with me for ideas if you need them. I am here to support – ALL OF US.  Here’s a link to the article in my latest e-newsletter “How to Take Control When You Have No Control” which might be helpful.   https://conta.cc/2UbJaAr

We will rise together!  Love Jan #IAMREGION26
