A Capella Adventure
We decided to have an educational event about singing A Capella, without actually connecting it with Battlefords Blend. Six people attended, five of whom had never intentionally sung without accompaniment.

After a hiatus of two years due to the pandemic and not being able to meet in person as a region, I was so thrilled last spring to finally be able to award the second Cammi MacKinlay Leadership Excellence Award in person to the one and only Marcia Pinvidic!
40 Years of Harmony and Fun
Over 40 years, Prairie Gold achieved 30 regional awards, including receiving 8-1st place Small Chorus awards and 2 -1st place Mid-size Chorus awards. They have also received the award for Most Improved chorus twice.

Everything is Relative was the name for the Family Chorus that came together and sang during the Region 26 Contest weekend in Saskatoon (April 27-30, 2023). And it was at this conference I found out how aptly named the Family Chorus was!

Joey Minshall - ACE Award 2021
Congratulations to Joey Minshall on receiving the ACE Award for 2021. Joey is truly the epitome of all that the award represents. She has been an inspiration in Region 26 for many years. As a director, an arranger and a coach she has spread the love of barbershop and her amazing arrangements around the world. Search Joey’s name on Google and it is apparent how far her influence has spread.
Remembering Yvette Jaspar
Yvette was a genuinely caring and compassionate person who loved and gave so much to her family, her chorus, her friends, and all of God’s creatures. We’re glad we laughed, and loved, and sang (oh how we sang) together.
