Pacific Edge Chorus was swept up into a spiral of activities and events in the last quarter of 2023 that carried us through into the New Year and set several of us down on the deck of a luxury cruise ship – top that wave!!

It will be a fun-filled musical year for Battlefords Blend!

After going to our first competition in 5 years, we came back ready to get started on our upcoming Stampede performances. Our hard work paid off, because the audience gave us a lot of positive feedback! 

Like a gust of wind rushing through us, excitement builds, approaching the home stretch to the international contest stage in Louisville.

A new rehearsal space, new members, performances and coaching inspire an exciting fall season.

In preparation for our open house, Rhythm of the Rockies members took to the bridges and overpasses of Calgary to hang banners.

The Summer leading up to an International competition is always a busy one, and this year was no exception for us here at Lions Gate Chorus. 

We’re in full swing for the run-up to International 2024 in Kansas City, with new repertoire and big plans for coaching and ensemble performances to get us ready for the big stage.

Southern Accord Chorus is announcing an unforgettable evening of musical celebration as we mark the 25th anniversary of our charter with Sweet Adelines International.

Bewitched embarked on our annual overseas trip again this summer to join The Squares at their retreat weekend and show. It was another wonderful experience of friendship and song for everyone involved.

Bewitched Quartet was thrilled to participate in The Back for the Future Convention and Competition in Saskatoon. It was a fabulous weekend and it felt so good to finally have our regional friends back together in person.

Members of  Battlefords Blend Chorus were excited to get back to live competition at Region 26 “Back for the Future” in Saskatoon in April.

This year’s Region 26 Competition in Saskatoon was a weekend full of music, friendship, and fun. Our first in-person competition since 2019 was the perfect opportunity to rekindle old friendships and to form new ones, making it an unforgettable experience.

Our Mother’s Day high tea was a huge success! We had a full house and our new members were amazing filling our sound and looking and singing like pros!

We want to express our gratitude to the women who produced and delivered Region #26, 2023 Convention and Competition in Saskatoon this spring. A huge job done well done – hats off to the Committee that made it happen after such a long drought.

So many stories to share preparing/travelling/singing- for Saskatoon.  We were anticipating changes as a result of our 3 year hiatus but no change in the warm welcome from Saskatoon. 

“Back for the Future” in Saskatoon was such fun for all of us at Westcoast, and we thank the many, many volunteers who put on this superb musical event and made us all feel so welcome!

Since Sweet Adelines International in Phoenix, Bewitched has been busy learning two new songs for our upcoming Back FOR The Future Regional in Saskatoon.

No time was wasted getting together to develop a plan for the international stage in Louisville Kentucky this fall.

Lions Gate has had a very busy fall and winter so far, with a move to a new rehearsal space, multiple community performances, a livestream performance with several more to come, coaching, and of course, preparations for Louisville well under-way!
